We are delighted to announce that faculty member Professor Grace Kao has been elected to be Vice-President Elect of the American Sociological Association (http://www.asanet.org/news-events/asa-news/results-2017-asa-election). Said Grace: “I am excited to serve the American Sociological Association as Vice President-Elect. It is a great honor, and I so appreciate the confidence placed in me by my fellow sociologists! I’m also delighted that this position begins just as I start my new position at Yale.” Congratulations Grace on this great honor and achievement!
