Graduate Student Kristin Plys recently published an article in Oxford Bibliographies in Sociology. The article on Immanuel Wallerstein, currently Senior Research Scientist at the Yale Department of Sociology, gives a description of his life, and highlights his contributions to sociological thought, particularly his world-systems theory. Finally, the article locates Wallerstein’s work within the broader sociological conversation by examining his influences, and those he shaped. Nice work Kristin!
