Postdoc Andersson set to join Baylor

Matt Andersson, a postdoctoral fellow, is to take up a position as Assistant Professor of Sociology at Baylor University in the fall. Much of Matt’s work focuses on socioeconomic inequalities in health and takes a life-course approach. During his time at Yale he has conducted research with Vida Maralani, Richard Breen, Nicholas Christakis, Noli Brazil, Joan Monin, and Rene Almeling, and he has published new and ongoing work in the American Journal of Sociology; the Journal of Health and Social Behavior; Obesity; Social Science & Medicine; Social Science Research; and other journals. Prior to arriving at Yale, Matt completed his doctoral research at the University of Iowa and was an undergraduate at Knox College, in Illinois.
