“Remaking Modernity” Ten Years On

A call for papers has been issued for “Revisiting Remaking Modernity: New Voices in Comparative-Historical Sociology,” to mark the decade since “the landmark volume” edited by Julia Adams, Elisabeth S. Clemens and Ann Shola Orloff. The August 21 mini-conference, sponsored by the ASA Section on Comparative-Historical Sociology; the Northwestern University Department of Sociology, and Northwestern’s Buffett Institute for Global Studies will take place one day before the annual ASA meeting in downtown Chicago.
