Celene Reynolds and Michael Sierra-Arévalo spoke at the opening of a digital exhibit on ISPS at CSSSI (Center For Science and Social Science Information) last month. (http://csssi.yale.edu/news/opening-reception-institution-social-and-policy-studies-yale-research-policy-leadership)
They discussed how ISPS ( The Institution for Social and Policy Studies) has helped support and shape their thinking around policy-relevant research during their time as Policy Fellows. They highlighted their continuing involvement with ISPS programs like the Director’s Fellows, the graduate Policy Fellows, and the new Policy Lab. The Policy Lab, opened in October, 2016 is a groundbreaking initiative that not only allows students to hone important research skills, but also allows them to engage with the New Haven community. Exciting to see the Sociology Department playing such an important role in this endeavor!
