As a doctoral student pursuing the combined program with African American Studies, Christina enters with interests in the intersection of race, class and gender as it relates to the sociology of art, visual cultures, urban spaces, and interpersonal violence. Her dissertation is a comparative ethnography of emergent Black visual artists and their collectives in New York and London, respectively. Christina is also a Wurtle Gallery Teacher and a Student Curator at the Yale University Art Gallery.
