The paper provides crucial insights into the formation of transnational fields through an archival examination of the nascent Red Cross Movement from the 1860s-1890s. Shai received his Ph.D. in May of 2016 from the Yale Department of Sociology and is currently Lecturer on Sociology at the Harvard Department of Sociology. Congratulations Shai!
