Endelman Published in Theory and Society

Graduate Student Jonathan Endelman has a new article in this month’s edition of the journal Theory & Society. Using the state of Jordan as a case study, Endelman argues in his article “Displaying the State: Visual Signs and Colonial Construction in Jordan” that colonial authorities make the state visible to its citizens and thereby establish its territoriality.
