Assistant Professor Emily Erikson was featured on Yale’s MacMillan Report, a program featuring discussions with professors about their work. Professor Erikson spoke about her award winning book, ”Between Monopoly and Free Trade: The English East India Company, 1600-1757,” explaining how employees of the Company were allowed to conduct private business on company voyages as a way to entice them to undertake extremely dangerous voyages.
