Yale F&ES professor (with a secondary appointment in sociology) has a new book with Princeton University Press examining the relationship between ultra-wealth, inequality, and the environment. Released in their prominent series “Princeton Studies in Cultural Sociology,” Farrell uses ethnographic methods to explore the
far-reaching consequences of the massive accrual of wealth, and it’s unforseen impacts on environmental issues. This cultural, political, and economic analysis establishes a new trajectory for sociological research on the environment. Link to book.
