On September 12 Yale will host a symposium, “Money Talks”, on money and the social. Distinguished panelists will present their work on markets, morals, and meanings, and a special panel will recognize the 20th anniversary of Viviana Zelizer’s groundbreaking book “The Social Meaning of Money”. The symposium is co-hosted by Professor Frederick Wherry, and marks the new Markets and Society concentration for Yale undergraduates.
