Professor Rene Almeling’s book GUYnecology featured at ASA

Professor Rene Almeling’s latest book, GUYnecology: The Missing Science of Men’s Reproductive Health (University of California Press, 2020) was one of fourteen books chosen for a Book Forum session at the American Sociological Association’s annual meeting in Los Angeles last month. The session was organized by Laura Carpenter, presided over by Emily Mann, and featured comments from Patrick Grzanka, LaTonya Trotter, Miranda Waggoner, and Natali Valdez. GUYnecology has received the Adele E. Clarke Book Award from the ReproNetwork and an honorable mention for the Distinguished Book Award from the ASA Sex and Gender Section.
