Sociology Chair Phil Gorski interviewed for Washington Post story on “great replacement” theory.

Phil Gorski,  Frederick and Laura Goff Professor and Chair, Sociology, was interviewed for a May 16 column in the Washington Post on the mainstreaming of formerly fringe beliefs about a deliberate plot to replace native-born White Americans with Democratic-voting immigrants, a theory which appears to have inspired the racist mass shootings in Pittsburgh, El Paso and elsewhere.
