The segment discusses the return of Brio, a magazine marketed to Christian teenage girls, as an alternative to Seventeen or Teen Vogue. At the bottom of the article, Brophy-Warren opines on how Brio will slot itself into the media landscape of 2017 after its absence. Previously, she had presented this work at the Yale University Center for Cultural Sociology. Currently she is Kenneth P. Dietrich Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Pittsburgh, and has published “Making Morals: Standard-Setting in Organizations.” Altruism, Morality and Social Solidarity: Establishing a Field of Study (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and “Exploring Physicians’ Attitudes About and Behavior in Communicating with Patients.” American Medical Association Journal of Ethics. July 2012; 14(7):557-559.

Congratulations Sorcha!
