The US Legal Cannabis Space: Outcomes and Future Directions

The cannabis industry in the US is likely to have far reaching consequences on a range of areas. A panel has been organized by Sociology Graduate Student Navin Kumar that seeks to understand and describe the effects of a growing cannabis industry, at the state, and national levels. This panel (Giadha Aguirre De Carcer, Deborah Hasin, Mohini Ranganathan and Kevin Sabet) asks whether the current burgeoning cannabis industry reflects a long-term shift in health, economic and legal outcomes, or a temporary blip.
