Associate Professor Jonathan Wyrtzen’s latest book, Worldmaking in the Long Great War: How Local and Colonial Struggles Shaped the Modern Middle East (Columbia University Press, 2022) was awarded an Honorable Mention for the Francesco Guicciardini Prize for Best Book  in Historical International Relations by the Historical International Relations Section of the International Studies Association.   You can read more about the prize here.
