Dominik Zelinsky is a PhD researcher in the department of sociology at the University of Edinburgh, where he moved after earning a master’s degree from Masaryk University in Brno. His research interests lie in the areas of social theory, cultural sociology, sociology of literature and the arts. He currently develops dissertation which studies the phenomenon of unofficial philosophy seminars in communist Czechoslovakia. (CCS Visiting Graduate Student, September-December 2018)
