Lotta Mayer

Lotta Mayer is leader of the research group “Embedded Violence” funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research at the Max Weber Institute for Sociology in Heidelberg . She holds a degree in sociology from the University of Heidelberg and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Marburg. Her research interests are political conflict, war and political violence, especially far-right violence.
