The Yale Journal of Sociology for 2013 has been released and is now available online from our homepage. As is customary it features items from authors at the two ends of academic hierarchy. Professor Charles Camic of Northwestern University provides our offering from a leading figure while 2013 Senior Deandra Tan bookends the junior scholars. Other authors include 2012 graduate, former Fox Fellow, and first-year Harvard Sociology graduate student Amy Tsang and comparative sociology postdoctoral fellow Nicholas Wilson. Their topics include reflections on books and knowledge, the avoidance of blame, the nature of corporate social responsibility in China, and the problematic concept of “empire”. The YJS 2013 is abstracted on EBSCO and will be searchable online as have our other recent editions.
