Elijah Anderson and Immanuel Wallerstein are speaking in Paris at the “Thinking Globally” international symposium organized by the Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme in honor of the Foundation’s 50th anniversary. Professor Wallerstein will discuss intellectual, organizational, and cultural barriers to global knowledge on May 15th, and Professor Anderson will speak on the 16th about his new book The Cosmopolitan Canopy: Race and Civility in Everyday Life.
