Mayor Michael Nutter of Philadelphia, in an invited lecture under the auspices of Professor Elijah Anderson’s Urban Ethnography Project, spoke to a gathering of Yale students on the problem of gun violence in America. In attendance at his lecture were also New Haven Mayor John DeStefano, Jr.; Alderman Justin Elicker, and members of the broader New Haven community. The Q & A was lively and substantive.
